Chairman of Laxmi Pratisthan, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam has been honored as the ‘Nagarik Nayak 2079’ by Nepal Republic Media, publisher of the Nagarik and the Republica Daily along with Mr. Satyanarayan Mahato ‘Alok’ and Mr. Chhitup Dorje Lama for their outstanding contributions in social services. Mr. Gautam was honored in recognition of his leadership in guiding Laxmi Pratisthan towards achieving the goals of providing hindrance free education to the underprivileged children in an effort to render them self dependent in the future. With this aim the foundation is running two free hostels with 175 children across Chitwan and Kavre districts with the provision of balanced diet, tidy clothes and uniforms, books and stationeries, other accessories along with sports and extracurricular activities in an amicable environment for the guarantee of hindrance free education.

The hostels have been running with the invaluable support of from our benevolent donors from the country and abroad. We highly acknowledge the contributions of all the concerned individuals and organization in making us eligible for this recognition from one of the reputed media houses of the country. We hope this recognition will help us to be known to more and more people as it will propel us to carry out our projects in more effective way in the days ahead.
